Hot Tamales Memories

When I was a little kid, we always went to my grandma and grandpa's farm for Easter. All of my aunts, uncles, and cousins gathered there for our annual Easter egg hunt. Every family brought a different kind of candy. My great grandma always brought hot tamales every year, they were my favorite candy.

Then all of the adults would go outside and hide all of the candy around the farm. When they were done hiding the candy they would give all of us kids a list of candy that we had to find. I am no longer a kid, not even a teenager, but every year we have an Easter egg hunt for all the grandchildren, no matter the age. We always have a blast, and I still always try to find my hot tamales first! ~ Kendra from South Dakota
