My aunt Mamie kind of took me under her wing when I was about six years old and we were always together. Unfortunately, she was a diabetic. Fortunately for me she always carried a big bag of Walnettos with her in case her blood sugar was low, of course I know now that it wasn't just a necessity when she ate them, she loved them. Whenever she would have one she would also give me one. It got to the point that I had to just ask for them because she couldn't have them as often as I wanted them. I was hooked! I have loved them ever since and I actually crave them at times. Until I found your site it was extremely difficult to find my favorite candy, Walnettos. Two years ago my beloved aunt was taken from me because of complications related to her diabetes and I miss her desperately, but I still share a Walnetto with her at least once a day. We used to get these in a oblong box and maybe 12 or so in the box. OMG so good. They were a little darker in color then than the ones they make now. Everyone loved them. I had a few woman in for lunch on Valentine's day several years ago and had Walnettos as a little gift at their place setting at the table. You have no idea how well that went over. Everyone was talking about them and even days after. We all knew how good they were. Pamela from Washington
The first bite into walnettos sent me back to when I was six years old. My grandma said that I could pick one piece of candy out of the candy dish, so I picked out the walnetto, and got lost in a chocolate nutty taste that filled my mouth with a warm dreamy yummy taste I had never tasted before. It very quickly became my favorite candy. Until I couldn't find it any more. Sure glad I found Old time Candy. You brought back a wonderful memory of my childhood. Thank you. Kat from Washington

good but pricey
Great candy, just a little pricey. I would love the large container of them but as it is expensive I just buy a few each time.
