Do not purchase

1st shipment was completely broken. Company was nice enough to credit back my money so I could re order. 2nd shipment completely broken again. They need to be packaged better. Amazon can deliver glass and fragile items but you can’t get candy unbroken. What a waste of money.

lots of broken canes

we ordered 320 candy cane sticks for an event where we are making lemon yodels. 58 of the candy canes were broken and unable to be used unfortunately which cost us a lot of money. super sad

Sweet candy, sour shipping

I bought a box of old fashioned candy sticks for my boyfriend from Old Time Candy. I ordered one of every flavor (to try) and a few extras in his favorite flavors. The candy tastes great but the box arrived, inside a larger box, full of candy sticks and one piece of bubble wrap on top. We were immediately worried about the candy, and rightfully so. All but three candy sticks were broken - in a box of that many candy sticks, this was extremely disappointing. For a shop that only operates online, there has to be a better way to ship your product. Again, candy itself was great, but due to the shipping process and experience, I'm going to find a place in town I can buy from in the future.

Hi Melissa,

I'm sorry that happened to your order! I will talk to the packers and make sure they are putting more bubble wrap in from now on. We do have a warning about breakage during shipping, but they should have packed it better than it sounds like they did.

I can't offer a refund, but we can give you store credit towards another purchase. Thank you for bringing that to our attention.

When my 2 sisters and I were young, back in the late 50’s, our Dad would take us to the neighborhood playground. When we were playing in the sandbox, Dad would toss coins into the sand when we weren’t looking. We really thought we were finding lost treasure!

This was back when this candy was called $100,000 bars, not 100 Grand bars. I remember going to my friend Cori's birthday party in elementary school, maybe third grade. At the party her mom told us that we were each going to get $100,000...

When I was a kid we always got Good and Plenty when we went to the movies. My sister would only eat the pink ones, even though I kept telling her they tasted the same as the white ones. Just seeing them today reminds me of my little sister and the sweet taste of black licorice.
