Disappointed

I ordered 2 of the 3lb bags. I got mostly lemon and lime which are my least favorite and I got rid of. I got very few grape and cherry and a ton of orange. I got absolutely NO PINEAPPLE which are my favorite. They are the ones I was looking forward to.☹️ I normally order the tin cans but they are out. I know I would have gotten some in there. Disappointed and I learned my lesson. No more bulk!

Just like I remember

I love sour balls!! These were my absolute favorite. My favorite is grape. I’m glad I was able to find these.

Sour?

I will have to agree with others that there really is nothing sour about these candies. Still, they are very good and make a lovely coffee table dish. Maybe they just didn’t have ‘sour’ candies in the Old Times.?

Hi Paula,

I think what we're experiencing is 'old fashioned sour.'

Sour fruit balls

Not sour at all, just light fruit flavor. The grape is the best and has the most flavor. Need to drop sour from the description.

Hi! These are old time sour... they didn't used to make things as sour as they do now!!

When my 2 sisters and I were young, back in the late 50’s, our Dad would take us to the neighborhood playground. When we were playing in the sandbox, Dad would toss coins into the sand when we weren’t looking. We really thought we were finding lost treasure!

This was back when this candy was called $100,000 bars, not 100 Grand bars. I remember going to my friend Cori's birthday party in elementary school, maybe third grade. At the party her mom told us that we were each going to get $100,000...

When I was a kid we always got Good and Plenty when we went to the movies. My sister would only eat the pink ones, even though I kept telling her they tasted the same as the white ones. Just seeing them today reminds me of my little sister and the sweet taste of black licorice.
