Delicious but not maple nut goodies

I purchased these with the hope that they would be similar to the discontinued Brach's maple nut goodies, which have a toffee center. Sadly they are not. BUT! they are a very tasty maple covered peanut treat. 4 stars for the disappointment, but they are still a hit around the house.

Maple double dipped peanuts

Only the slightest hint of maple flavor but otherwise, a pleasant candy. I was hoping for something closer to the Brach's maplenut and will continue my search.
Bought as a gift, a bit embarrassed missing the target!

Received melted

Reminded me of Brach's maple nut goodies, which is what i was looking for....close but not it.....contents received and were melted together dispite the cooling insert that I paid for....good try, but I'll have to pass on this.

MELTED

Don't order these unless you live near by. Even with the freezer packs, my package arrived, hot and melted in a big ball of mess. Not happy!

Not the real Maple Nut Candy.

Horrible. I literally threw the entire bag away. Nothing at all like the real Maple Nut Candies we use to buy by the pound in the 1980’s. Taste like it’s made in China. Tiny pieces/morsels of candy, the size of raisins.

When my 2 sisters and I were young, back in the late 50’s, our Dad would take us to the neighborhood playground. When we were playing in the sandbox, Dad would toss coins into the sand when we weren’t looking. We really thought we were finding lost treasure!

This was back when this candy was called $100,000 bars, not 100 Grand bars. I remember going to my friend Cori's birthday party in elementary school, maybe third grade. At the party her mom told us that we were each going to get $100,000...

When I was a kid we always got Good and Plenty when we went to the movies. My sister would only eat the pink ones, even though I kept telling her they tasted the same as the white ones. Just seeing them today reminds me of my little sister and the sweet taste of black licorice.
