Coconut Bon Bons are a unique bite sized treat sure to satisfy your sweet tooth! These bon bons have a creamy coconut center and are finished with an assortment of flavored fondant coatings including coconut (white), strawberry (pink), chocolate (brown) and lemon (yellow). Each piece measures about 1 inch wide by 1 inch tall. A 3 lb bag has roughly 98 pieces.

Delicious! For All Coconut Lovers!

These Coconut Bon Bons were always a Christmas favorite. Rarely see them in stores anymore. I definitely could not pass this opportunity up to purchase them.

A Blast from the Past

These were sold from glass cases circa 1960 at Powell's Department Store in my hometown of New Hampton, Iowa. I was feeling a bit nostalgic so I ordered them. The first few bites was like going back in time.

When my 2 sisters and I were young, back in the late 50’s, our Dad would take us to the neighborhood playground. When we were playing in the sandbox, Dad would toss coins into the sand when we weren’t looking. We really thought we were finding lost treasure!

When I was a kid we always got Good and Plenty when we went to the movies. My sister would only eat the pink ones, even though I kept telling her they tasted the same as the white ones. Just seeing them today reminds me of my little sister and the sweet taste of black licorice.
