Clark Bars are chocolate coated peanut butter crunch candy bars. Do you remember the commercial with the giraffe that said, "I want a Clark Bar." When ordering single candy bars, save 5% with the purchase of 6 bars or more.
I ordered 9 Clark candy bars, I'm very happy. My favorite chocolate bar as a child,
Awesome that you had Clark bars!! They're so hard to find!! And they were shipped so quickly!! Good transaction.
Note that some of the bars were in pieces, some were kind of smashed in places ... but I enjoyed they anyway ... just a little messy.
I've always loved this Chocolate covered P.B. candy bar, that has a much smoother texture than Butterfinger that my teeth can handle, & I savor every, single bite; but even as a teen in San Diego, CA they were very hard to find as they continue to be under the new ownership. So whenever you spot this rare, edible gold here in-stock, grab them fast!
These are NOT the Clark bars of yesteryear! They look nothing like the picture - the outer chocolate coating is not rippled as shown in photo nor is the filling the same. These bars have one solid, and I mean SOLID, interior which cannot be bitten into - it must be forcefully cut with a very sharp knife or hammered! What a disappointment - my husband has been trying to locate/buy these for several years so when I found them at Old Time Candy I was so excited to surprise him with his much longed for sweet. Sweet surprise was a nightmare!! Save yourself money and aggravation by getting some other candy. The shipping was fast and my order was well insulated and packaged so highest rating there - just avoid Clark Bars!
My Dad had recently been reminiscing about all the great old time candy bars that he used to enjoy as a kid and could no longer find in stores, so I bought him several Sky Bars and other retro candy he loved for a Christmas gift. He was surprised and very pleased. The only problem is that my mom keeps wanting to eat them, as well. LOL! I'll be buying more in the future. Thank you 'Old Time Candy' for making my dad's gift so special and sweet.
When my 2 sisters and I were young, back in the late 50’s, our Dad would take us to the neighborhood playground. When we were playing in the sandbox, Dad would toss coins into the sand when we weren’t looking. We really thought we were finding lost treasure!
This was back when this candy was called $100,000 bars, not 100 Grand bars. I remember going to my friend Cori's birthday party in elementary school, maybe third grade. At the party her mom told us that we were each going to get $100,000...
When I was a kid we always got Good and Plenty when we went to the movies. My sister would only eat the pink ones, even though I kept telling her they tasted the same as the white ones. Just seeing them today reminds me of my little sister and the sweet taste of black licorice.
