Childhood Favorite

I remember seeing the Bun Bar promoted on the Bozo Circus show on WGN in Chicago when I was a kid in the 1960's. Great combination of chocolate, vanilla cream center, and nuts. One of my old favorites.

Made my friends happy to get the Bun bars

I bought these candy bars to surprise three friends that have been looking
for Bun bars in our stores but never can find any. They loved the candy and
I will probably buy the Maple flavored ones soon and surprise them again.
The bars are on the sweet side but oh so good!!!

They brought back some child time memories. I forgot how sweet they are. I'm so glad that I found them. I'm going to try the maple ones next time.

Product was good. Disliked how store tried to up-charge me after the order was placed for an ice pack to ensure the chocolate didn’t melt. The ice pack should be included in the $9.99 shipping and handling charge.

Oblversll I was okay with it. I believe the local grocery store is cheaper per bar.

When my 2 sisters and I were young, back in the late 50’s, our Dad would take us to the neighborhood playground. When we were playing in the sandbox, Dad would toss coins into the sand when we weren’t looking. We really thought we were finding lost treasure!

This was back when this candy was called $100,000 bars, not 100 Grand bars. I remember going to my friend Cori's birthday party in elementary school, maybe third grade. At the party her mom told us that we were each going to get $100,000...

When I was a kid we always got Good and Plenty when we went to the movies. My sister would only eat the pink ones, even though I kept telling her they tasted the same as the white ones. Just seeing them today reminds me of my little sister and the sweet taste of black licorice.
