Good News still good news!

Such an old time favorite from my childhood. Everytime I go home to Hawaii I try to get a box. Used to hand them out like cigars at the birth of all my kids and the most recently bought two boxes with two of them graduating college. The only downfall is how much smaller the bar has gotten, and how expensive it is to get them now. Goes the same for all candy bars really. I remember being able to get 4/$1 back in the day. Still taste as good as I remember though!

Good News

Enjoyed this candy since I was a little girl. My grandmother used to buy them for me. Although it’s so much smaller in size nowadays.I hope they never stop making them. Thank you for selling them again OleTimeCandy.com

This bar is delicious! I purchased a box to give to Vacation Bible School staff as they shared the good news with the children!! Yummy!

When my 2 sisters and I were young, back in the late 50’s, our Dad would take us to the neighborhood playground. When we were playing in the sandbox, Dad would toss coins into the sand when we weren’t looking. We really thought we were finding lost treasure!

When I was a kid we always got Good and Plenty when we went to the movies. My sister would only eat the pink ones, even though I kept telling her they tasted the same as the white ones. Just seeing them today reminds me of my little sister and the sweet taste of black licorice.
