Candy Blox History
Candy Blox is a brand of candy that was first introduced in the early 1990s by a company called Concord Confections, Inc. The candy was designed to resemble building blocks and was marketed as a fun and creative way for kids to play with their food.
The original Candy Blox came in a variety of colors and flavors and were made from compressed dextrose, which is a type of sugar. The candy was sold in small boxes or bags and was often found in the candy aisle of grocery stores and convenience stores.
Over the years, the Candy Blox brand has changed hands several times. Concord Confections was acquired by the Canadian candy company, The Topps Company, Inc., in 2004. Topps sold the Candy Blox brand to a company called Cap Candy in 2009, and Cap Candy was later acquired by Leaf Brands, LLC in 2013.
Today, Candy Blox continue to be popular among children and adults alike. They are still made from compressed dextrose and are available in a variety of colors and flavors. In addition to the original block-shaped candy, Candy Blox are now also available in other fun shapes, such as hearts and stars.
Candy Blox are not associated with the Lego© brand.
