Candy Memories

I loved these caramels as a child, and still do. I used to put one in my mouth and see if I could suck on it until it was gone. I never could!! I always seemed to lose my resolve and I'd just have to chew it. By far, my favorite memory of these little caramels, is making caramel apples with my grandma in the autumn each year. We would sit and unwrap a bunch of caramels, and put them in a big bowl. (We would have to eat a couple of course!) Then she would heat them up until they were all melted. Then we would dip our apples into the hot gooey stuff. Mmm... They were stick-to-your-teeth good!!! Sarah from Washington
I don't have many memories of my grandfather, as I was about 3 or 4 when he passed, but one of the few memories I do have is when he would come home from working at the Garage. He would sit on the couch with a small paper bag of caramel cubes, call me over, and pour the entire contents of the bag out onto the coffee table. He would let me eat as many as I wanted, just him and me. To this day, caramel cubes remind me of him. Michelle from Florida
I loved just sitting with my friends unwrapping the caramels and eating them- yummmm! Randy from New Jersey

Taste ok, but package is difficult to remove

These tasted like the Brach's caramels that I grew up with, but they were only 1/2 the size of what Brach's sold. Most of mine didn't come in perfect squares like the picture. Many were malformed, pushed in, squashed, which made it difficult to remove the plastic wrap.
