The first time I tried one of these, the pineapple flavor, was to yum of the yummiest flavors. My sister and I, each, got one. She had a silver cap on one of her front teeth. She got impatient with how long it was lasting that she tried to take a bite. Needless to say, this is not the candy to eat if you have caps on your teeth. Emergency dentist appointment, scolded by the dentist and Mom. Then back home to finish the pop. This time no biting. Since then, 45 years later, when we get together, one of us will bring Astro Pops and we sit and laugh about that first time. Virginia from California
I remember playing in front of my grandmas window sucking on an astro pop lollipop in the early 70s Stacey from New York
I remember going to our neighborhood, mom and pop, store and oogling all the different varieties of candy. All my favorites were there, rocket pops, candy cigarettes, taffy, candy necklaces and so many penny candies. To this day I still have a sweet tooth and my night stand drawer, just within reach, overflowing with candy for my nighttime cravings. Vicky from California
