My aunt Mamie kind of took me under her wing when I was about six years old and we were always together. Unfortunately, she was a diabetic. Fortunately for me she always carried a big bag of Walnettos with her in case her blood sugar was low, of course I know now that it wasn't just a necessity when she ate them, she loved them.

Whenever she would have one she would also give me one. It got to the point that I had to just ask for them because she couldn't have them as often as I wanted them. I was hooked! I have loved them ever since and I actually crave them at times. Until I found your site it was extremely difficult to find my favorite candy, Walnettos. Two years ago my beloved aunt was taken from me because of complications related to her diabetes and I miss her desperately, but I still share a Walnetto with her at least once a day. ~ Jeri from Missouri
