Bubble Gum Cigars History

Bubble Gum Cigars are a type of candy that imitates the appearance of cigars. Here's a brief history of Bubble Gum Cigars:

Bubble Gum Cigars have been around for several decades and have been enjoyed by both children and adults. They were created as a novelty candy, mimicking the shape and appearance of real cigars without any tobacco or harmful substances.

The exact origins of Bubble Gum Cigars are not well-documented, but they likely emerged in the mid-20th century. The candy cigars are typically made of bubble gum or a similar chewy candy, rolled and shaped to resemble a cigar.

Bubble Gum Cigars are usually wrapped in a colorful wrapper that imitates the traditional paper wrapping found on real cigars. The wrapper often includes humorous or playful text, further enhancing the novelty aspect of the candy.

These candy cigars are commonly sold in individual packages or as part of novelty gift items, such as baby shower favors or gag gifts. They are often associated with celebratory occasions or events.

Bubble Gum Cigars have remained popular due to their whimsical and nostalgic appeal. They provide a fun and lighthearted way to enjoy a sweet treat without any association with actual tobacco or smoking.

It's important to note that Bubble Gum Cigars are intended as a candy product and should not be confused with actual tobacco or used to promote smoking. They are purely a novelty item for entertainment purposes.

As with any candy, availability and packaging may vary depending on the manufacturer and the country or region in which they are sold.

Bubble Gum Cigars Memories

Wow these certainly bring back fond memories. When I was little my dad worked out of town a lot so I don't really remember him being there until I was around 5 years old. He hurt his back and had to take some time off to heal.

Since I was five I was getting ready to start school, dad told mom that he would take me to Wal-Mart to buy my school stuff. After we were done at Wal-Mart and I had all my school supplies we started home, but dad made a detour.

He told me he had to stop at the cigarette store, he made me stay in the car, but when he came back he had a surprise for me, three bubble gum cigars, one of each flavor. After we got home I spent all afternoon chewing gum, I didn't really like the banana, but I like the fruit and loved the mint. Every time he went to that store after that he bought me two of the mint ones up until my parents got divorced when I was 6.

I moved in with mom and we moved to the city, she still bought bubble gum cigars for me, but the store closed down when I was 8 and we looked everywhere for them but never found anymore. I was shocked to see them on your site, I was very happy to see them. ~ Lucas from Tennessee
