Testimonial... My husband surprised me with a box of "Candy You Ate As A Kid" for a Christmas gift. At first I thought it a little silly, but once I opened it we enjoyed a memory flood. I think the candy that sparked my favorite memories was Sen Sen. Not that I necessarily liked it but it was always found in my grandmas purse, along with Charms candies, Chuckles and Wild Cherry Smith Brothers Cough drops.
I think the funniest thing about this gift was that on Christmas Eve my
four sisters and I (age range 35-45) were sitting around talking about
candy we used to eat as kids. We talked about Charms, Nik-l-nips, Satellite
Wafers, Fizzies, Adams Sour Gums, Blackjack Gum (how when it was so black
if you covered your teeth with it ,it looked like they were missing,..
scared Mom a time or two with that one). I think I may order all of them
