"candy you ate as a kid" story?
Share it here. When I was a youngster, my Uncle Clyde owned a corner store across the street from his house. Whenever Mom went to see my aunt, I was always tag along so I could go over to see Uncle Clyde and get my piece of Super Bubble. All the other stores sold it, but my uncle gave a piece to every child whenever they came to see him.
When he retired at the age of 80, he still had my cousin go to the warehouse and get him his Super Bubble gum in case any kids came to see him. When I went to see him the week before he passed away, he had me a piece of Super Bubble on the dresser and this is the one story I'll always have of the kindest uncle one could have! ~ Diane from Virginia
