"candy you ate as a kid" story?
Share it here.I remember, as a child growing up in Oregon, my 3 brothers my sister and I would, as we walked home from school, pass a small grocery store {incidentally owned by our neighbors}. We would almost always have a little change, and would buy candy -- you know for the very long walk home {just under a half a mile} at least sometimes it seemed like a long walk.
We always bought something different from what the others got, and would trade one piece of ours for one piece of each others. I always got Spree... because I dearly loved those little brightly colored candies, but mostly because I could trade off four pieces and still have lots left, which for me, at seven, was great. Thinking about these candies bring back lovely memories. ~ Jackie from Missouri
