"candy you ate as a kid" story?
Share it here. When I was a kid, about 10 years old, my brothers and I played little league baseball in Lennox, CA, in the Lennox Little League organization. Our Grandpa went to every game. He always brought a bag of Sour Fruit Balls and passed them out to everyone in the stands. Next game, he's buy another bag to pass out. This happened every weekend throughout Little League season.
The concession stand probably didn't like it much, since no one was buying THEIR candy... but the Lennox Little League announced our Grandpa as "The Official Lennox Little League Grandfather" because of his consistent support and for passing out the SOUR FRUIT BALLS at every game! ~ Bill from Nevada
