"candy you ate as a kid" story?
Share it here. One of my greatest memories of my grandmother's house was the beautiful candy dish she kept in the middle of her dining room table full of sour balls. It was actually a very delicate, beautiful serving dish with many arms. Instead of serving grown up items in it, she served her grandchildren sour balls.
It was a two hour trip to my grandmother's house and seemed to take forever in the back of a '75 station wagon. My three brothers, one sister, and I used to run in her house, greet her at the door with a kiss, and run straight to the candy dish in the middle of the dining room table. To this day when I see sour balls, I think of my wonderful grandmother and all the love she shared. ~ Angie from Kentucky
