Share it here.The licorice ones were my favorite although I never did turn down the cherry ones. I remember being at the store and noticing them near the gum and candy bars. Once we (me, my sister, and my brother) saw the cough drops we would always tell our mother that we thought we might be getting sick just so we could get some of those cough drops. Eventually she figured out what we were doing but she would still buy them for us anyway.
Nowadays when my daughter gets sick and complains about the bad tasting cough drops, I tell her about the 'good old days' and the delicious licorice and cherry cough drops we used to have. She never believes me. ~ Ruth from California
