"candy you ate as a kid" story?
Share it here.Sky Bars are one of my most vivid childhood memories. Every summer my sister, my cousins (I have a LOT of cousins) and I would take the long trip to our grandfathers camp in the Adirondacks. It was set way back in the woods and the drive would be rather long and boring. How many trees can a carload of kids look at before getting a little stir crazy?
To help keep us quiet our mothers would ply us with candy. We always had Sky Bars, they were the greatest because we could trade the different pieces. I can't find them anymore and it's been years since I had one. But I will always have a soft spot in my heart for that bright yellow wrapper and the memories of my family it invokes.
