Skor memories... I have loved SKOR candy bars since I was 15
years old. I am in my thirties now, and have not seen them around
the stores in a while. I am sure they still make these, but I guess
they aren’t as popular in my area. My love of this great candy bar
started when my shop teacher rewarded me with the job of stocking
the old coke machine we had in our school shop. I would load it with
Cokes and Candy, and a perk to the job was I got to get one candy
and a coke for free each day. I always got the SKOR bar. The coke
machine would chill it to near freezing, and I loved to lick the
chocolate off then eat the toffee. Needless to say shop was my
favorite class in school, and I never lost my love of SKOR’s. I had
forgotten about why, until I saw them on your site. Thanks for
bringing back a good memory. ~ Russell from Arkansas
My favorite candy bar as a kid was the Skor bar. Whenever my
father would get ready to go to the store, I would call out to him,
"Daddy, will you please get me a SKOR"? He would shout back, "Yup. I
am going to the STORE". I would then shout, "No! Skor!! Will you
bring me back a SKOR"!?! He would holler back, "The STORE? You want
me to bring you back the whole STORE"?? We would go back and forth
like this and he would continue to pretend not to understand what I
wanted.
Then, upon his return, he would unpack the groceries. The
last thing out of the bag, without fail, was always my beloved Skor
bar! When I saw Skors on your website, all of this came rushing back
to me...and made me smile. Can't wait to taste a Skor again! Thanks.

Skor bars are easily my favorite candy. When I was a child
growing up in New Orleans in the early 80s, my dad would by me a
treat when I got a good report card. In that area, I had a wide
assortment of local sweet delicacies to choose from, but I almost
always chose a Skor bar. I liked to break it into tiny pieces and
suck the chocolate off each piece and let the toffee part melt in my
mouth.
Sadly, they are becoming increasingly difficult to find. Glad to
know that they're available here. ~Ray from Georgia
