Sixlets memories... I remember being 6 years old and visiting my
grandparents on Halloween. I begged and begged to go
Trick-or-Treating, but my grandparents simply refused. Instead I got
to help give out candy to those costume-clad kids that came to our
door.
When the first
child arrived I reached into the bag of Sixlets sitting by the door
and dumped the contents of my hand into the waiting pillow case.
Little did I know that later that night, after the Trick-or-Treaters
had come and gone, I would receive my own monstrous bag of
Sixlets.
Ever since then
I have waited anxiously for Halloween, so I can give out and eat
Sixlets, much as I did as a child. But now I've found this website,
and I eat them all year long, enjoying their chocolaty goodness and
the Halloween memories they bring. ~ Rebecca from Florida
I have been a
fan of all chocolate candy for years now and since I'm only twenty,
that's most of my life. As a child I remember my father taking myself
and my siblings to the neighborhood drugstore that always had a variety
of candy in stock, especially my favorite: Sixlets.
I've enjoyed the fact that
Sixlets are simple and strictly consist of milk chocolate and a sweet
candy-coated shell. As a child I would see everyone with a pack of M&M's
but since I was allergic to peanuts, I felt like I was the outsider. God
bless the creator of Sixlets for bringing some sunshine into my life. ~

When I was
growing up in Chicago during the 1960's, we were fortunate to eat out a
lot. We always went to a particular drive-in restaurant, called
Dog-n-Suds, where they gave out or sold tubes of Sixlets. I always loved
them, and since I was an only child, I didn't have to share with any
siblings!
After I grew up, I couldn't find
them for ages, but for the last several years I have been finding them
in all kinds of places. Yay! It would be terrific to get them in bulk
without the tubes. Thank you for a fun site and the chance to talk about
Sixlets. ~ Sierra from New Mexico
I remember my dad taking me to the candy store and how excited I would get. Sixlets was one of my favorite
candies to eat. I loved the different colors that they came in. As an adult now it brings back fond memories of the time me and him spent together.
Its been many years since my dad has past but I can't help but to remember him when ever I think about or see that candy. Thanks for the wonderful
memories. ~ Louie from New York
