I was eight in the late sixties and I wanted ho ho's like all the rest of the kids. We didn't have a lot of money so my mom bought me scooter pies instead because they were cheaper. It was a big hit at school. Today 42 years later I sell moon pies in my deli, not quite the same but brings back great memories of the scooter pie! ~Tina in California

I remember packing scooter pies in my lunch during the 60's. At that time, Scooter Pies were available in different flavored marshmallows. I remember cherry flavored marshmallow. My lunch consisted of a sandwich, potato or corn chips (remember Wampums?) a Scooter Pie and an apple. This was during my elementary school years. ~Nori in California
