"candy you ate as a kid" story?
Share it here.I grew up in the 1980s and I came from a large family with 8 kids. I was #5 in line. Every summer my family went away for a week long vacation. I loved growing up on the east coast and it was awesome because I remember summers going to the Jersey Shore and the beach houses and getting salt water taffy...it was so soft and sweet and it melted in your mouth.
Man I miss those days. Days when summertime meant playing outside in the sand and surf and night time was for family dinners and laughing with relatives you hadn't seen since last summer. I recently saw a box of it for sale somewhere but forget where and it was the same stuff from Jersey... I miss being a kid when I see candy like that. ~ Tina from Missouri
