Growing up my brother and I would go and visit my grandparents for the summer. We would do all kinds of chores around the yard for any change our grandparents could spare. After hours of mowing and sweeping up the yard we would finally get our reward. A whole three dollars to split.
We'd start walking down the street and get our Rolos. When we got back from the store we would hide in the back yard and eat our sweet reward, before grandma could stop us from "ruining" our dinner. The Chewy caramel covered in chocolate was always a great way to end our summer day. Sometimes grandpa would catch us but as long as we shared with him grandma would never have to know. ~ Marie from Maryland
