Ring Pops memories... Not bad
for a candy. The thing about these are that you never have to worry
about dropping them there always on your finger and make you look like
a little kid. I remember when I was a kid and used to eat them my mom
walked in one day and said WHAT'S THAT ON YOUR HAND AND IN YOUR MOUTH
she though I had picked something up off the ground and had it in my
mouth..... I told her what it was and she was like so me and her used
to sit around and eat them all the time. Ring Pops Rock. ~ George from
Mississippi
When I was about seven years old, I still was on the pacifier. I just
wouldn’t give it up! Everyone tried to get me off of it, but it was impossible. Being a big second grader, I felt some embarrassment.
However, there was no way I was going to give it up! One day, my mom went to the store. She brought
home a big bag of something. I was curious. When she wasn’t looking, I took a little peak in the bag. Inside were about twenty. Ring Pops.
The next day, I couldn’t find my pacifier. I started to scream! Then I thought of something. Those Ring Pops looked just like a pacifier!
So, whenever I had the urge to stick my pacifier in my mouth, I would have a Ring Pop. Eventually, I ate them all. But by that time, I
didn’t have any more urges.
Later I learned that this was all my mom’s evil idea. Whenever I see Ring Pops in a store, I’m always
tempted to get one and relive those days. ~ Lisa from Wisconsin
I remember the first time I
saw a Ring Pop. It looked like a big fancy jewel. I begged my mom to
buy me one and she did, but she told me I couldn't open it until we
got home. I stared at that Ring Pop all the way home and imagined
myself wearing it and looking like I was rich.
We finally got home and I
tore open the package. I put it on my finger and felt so fancy
showing it to my friends. I'd take a couple of licks here and there.
Since they didn't have one I'd let them have a couple of licks.
Before I knew it, it was getting smaller and smaller. Suddenly I
didn't feel so fancy anymore, so I just bit the rest off. When I buy
my daughter one she does the same thing-puts it on her finger like a
big fancy jewel and walks around all proud. ~ Kathy from Colorado
