"candy you ate as a kid" story?
Share it here.As soon as I bite into a piece of Red Vines red licorice it immediately takes me back to carefree summer days of childhood when we would swim at an outside pool at a nearby recreation center - they sold Red Vines for a nickel and after swimming (and putting up with the annoying boys) we would pay our nickel for our Red Vine licorice. Our parents rarely let us have any candy, so that licorice was such a treat. The only red licorice I will eat now is Red Vines, because I cherish the memories of those summers long ago.
