"candy you ate as a kid" story?
Share it here.I absolutely love Razzles. The rich and sugary taste of all the flavors, orange, raspberry, lemon, blue raspberry, and our favorite grape. You could buy them at the county fair under a little booth run by my great uncle, Terry. I would pop two or three grape flavored Razzles in to my mouth, grind carefully and slowly with my teeth and then wait for them to dissolve into gum. It was truly heaven when I went to the county fair always counting on Terry to toss a pack of the candy to me to get me through the hot day.
One day he didn't come. Although my mother bought me a balloon and cotton candy, but still my mouth watered for the taste of grape. That night we found out that he had died. I smooshed my head under my pillow, waiting for something. I knew something wouldn't happen, unless I made it. So here I am, seven years later, taking over the candy stand at the county fair. ~ Devin from Louisiana
