When I was in 6th grade my best friend and I came up with this great idea to make money. Since we weren't allowed to chew gum in school we decided it would be fun to wear our gum to school.
We saved our allowance which was 1.00 a week until we had enough money to buy Rain Blo Gum, which we picked because of the pretty bright colors, clear fingernail polish, and elastic string. We painted each ball (that we didn't chew) with the fingernail polish so the colors wouldn't rub off and then made necklaces and bracelets. We took them to school and sold the bracelets for 50 cents and the necklaces for 75 cents. 35 years later I still chuckle inside when I see Rain Blo Gum on the candy rack. ~ Lisa from Louisiana
