Share it here.My mom wasn't very fond of pixy stix, mostly because they are pure sugar, but also because we never managed to eat them without spilling the sugar. In the summers we used to pitch a tent in the backyard and go camping at home, just my siblings and I.

One time I walked to the store and bought pixy stix and snuck them out to the tent. We ate some and went into the house, where my mother immediately made us hand over the pixy stix. We couldn't figure out how she could have known. Perhaps because our tongues were red!! Turns out, the cashier at the little grocery store called my mother to tell her that we had bought candy - small towns!, UGH! ~ Jim from Texas
