Necco wafers always remind me of going to the downtown movie theater on a Saturday afternoon in the 1960's. I always stood before the crowded refreshment counter, fighting for a position to study the candy assortment. It was a big decision to pay a whole quarter for candy! Necco wafers gave me the best return for my money - individual wafers and multiple flavors that could be stretched out to last through the movie. Just the smell of the candy powder of the wafer is still in my memory. ~ Janet from Tennessee
