My Grandfather (Mother's Father) was Walter Holloway (brother of Milton, founder of Holloway Candy Company). As a child growing up I looked forward to Christmas as my Grandfather would send us a "Christmas Basket" filled with Milk Duds, "Mints", "Bark" and various other chocolates. Sometimes we would get surprise deliveries at other times of the year.

I was devastated when, at 6 years old, the Company was sold to Beatrice Foods. To this day when I go to a movie or have a desire for a chocolatey, chewy snack, I pick up a box of my favorite childhood candy, Milk Duds. ~ Curt from California
