Peanut Butter Bars memories...

Peanut Butter Bars Memories...
WoW! I remember discovering this oh so tasty candy when I was about
10 or so. My parents would take me to my aunt's who owned this small
Ma and Pops candy store. I remember being so excited about going
because I knew I would get some candy.
I always remember my aunt eating the
Peanut Butter Bars, and so one day right before I left the store she told me to
wait just a minute and she came back with a huge handful of these candies. I
took them home and ate every single one.. those were my favorites after that.
That was so many years ago, I am so happy I found you guys... this will truly
bring back the simple joy these lost candies once gave me. ~ Thomas from West
Virginia
Growing up in Arkansas, a lot of summers
were spent at the ball park. My sister and I played softball on a team that my
mom and dad coached, and my mom played on our church's team.
They always sold Peanut Butter Bars at
the concession stand, and it was always my favorite treat. The striped wrappers
would be littered everywhere! The sweet almost vanilla flavor on the outside and
the crunchy peanut butter center... so delicious! ~ Catherine from Arkansas
My grandparents always had these tasty
little treats at their house when I was growing up. They lived on a farm and I
clearly remember the red glass bowl the peanut bars would sit in on the kitchen
counter. I would grab one almost every time I walked by.
I loved the light crispy texture and
peanut butter flavor. My feisty grandpa would always say, "Get another one.
Those are good for you. They were made in San Antone!" (According to him,
everything was made in San Antone.) What a great memory! ~ Becky from Texas
