Gummy memories...
When I was really little I remember there was this cute boy living down the street and I really wanted to meet him. I was walking down the street and I saw him walk out of his house eating gummy worms. So the next day I go to the store down the block and I bought a HUGE bag for myself. A week later I walked by his house and he walked outside and I was chewing on my gummy worms and then I started to choke. I was really embarrassed by what happened that day that I never asked him to play again. ~ Jessica from Washington Gummi Bears were my favorite candy since I was a kid ! My brother and I would always fight over the different kinds of flavors. I love them all ! We could never have enough Gummi Bears in the house. Whenever my parents gave me my allowance, I'd rush to the candy store and buy a bag of Gummis. I would chew on a whole bunch of different flavors at once. Sometimes I would try to make them last as long as they could in my mouth but they were so yummy, that I had to chew them all up. What a fantastic candy ! My mom used to take me to the supermarket since I was 3 and every single time, she would let me pick out a package of gummi bears. I enjoyed those visits a lot. After getting my gummi bears, I would share it with my sister. We would bite off the heads and switch the bodies so they were different colored. We would also bite off the legs too. We would also try to see how many gummy bears we could fit in our tiny mouths at once. We would also put them in glasses of water to see if they would grow.. one lesson I learned, never drop a gummy bear down a toilet because it will stick on for a couple of days! ~ Cathy from Hawaii |
