Goobers memories...

Goobers

Back when my family and I lived in Columbus, Ohio, I was at a new High School because we had just moved from Canada. After school I would go straight to Dairy Queen and order a chocolate ice cream peanut buster parfait. I would also stop by the Drug Store and buy a pack of goobers.

It was a GREAT combination. I immediately fell in love with goobers. Me and my friends would do a regular routine. After I graduated High School, I would see goobers less and less often. Soon enough the only time I would see them is at video rentals and the movie theaters.

They were always high priced and didn't taste like I remembered. Thank you folks at old time candy for re-uniting me and goobers!!! ~ Natalie from Maryland

I am sixty five years young, my favorite memory of goobers go back to childhood movies, cowboys and Indians, with goobers and raisinets. A friend found goobers at a fruit stand, purchased them for me. What such sweet memories those chocolate covered peanuts brought to mind. You gotta love Roy Rogers. ~ Katherine from Alabama
