Cup-o-Gold memories...
When my sister and I were little kids my family would eat Chinese food at a family friends restaurant. Before dinner the adults would have a cocktail at the bar and for a treat we would get a cup o gold. The box would sit behind the bar and call out to us. It was the best treat a kid could have... so good I've never forgotten the fond memories associated with this one of a kind chocolate and marshmallow delight. 30 years later I find a store selling cup-o-gold. Wow, I remembered why it was my favorite in the first bite. There's nothing like it... just as it tasted back at Charlie Wong's place up at the Russian river. ~ Robert from California |
