"candy you ate as a kid" story?
Share it here. There were 7 children in our family. We didn't get money to spend at school break. Normally the school provided free chocolate milk. However, in 4th grade my friend Rebecca would buy Mary Janes candy and always give me a few pieces. She'd toss them on my desk and say "Mary Janes for Mary" with a big smile. Whenever I see Mary Janes in the store I always think of Rebecca's giving attitude. Amazing how such a small gesture can mean so much to a child. ~ Mary from Kentucky
