"candy you ate as a kid" story?
Share it here.My sister and I grew up in Coquille, Oregon eating Look candy bars. My mom would store them in the freezer to keep them fresh. When we were ready to eat one we would break them into bite size pieces which made them so good & crunchy let alone easy to eat! My mom used these candy bars as a bargaining tool in our childhood! We both now live in Florida and these treats are not sold, or as I was told over the phone, by Annabelle Candy Co., east of the Mississippi River!
So, we are forced to order them by mail. We are both in our 50's and still adore them! We absolutely do not mind the wait as long as we get our wonderful childhood treats! I have even turned my co-workers onto them and we go in together when ordering Looks! My co-worker did find some Look bars in our mall at a candy specialty store but as you can probably figure out, it's more economical to order them through the mail! But, when we get in a pinch, we will find our way to the mall & breakdown and buy a couple while we wait for our mail order Thank yall so much for keeping our childhood & adult dreams alive with the wonderful chocolate, nougat, and nutty Look bars! ~ Julia from Florida
