Licorice Wheels memories... My
grandfather would bring me a bag of licorice wheels each time he
visited our home when I was a child. He could barely get out of the
car and I would be running for the licorice. I was tickled pink to
find that you carried this.
This candy has been hard to find. It
has been over 20 years since my grandfather brought this candy to me.
This sure brings back a lot of wonderful times we shared together.
Best of luck to your company. I have marked your site in my favorite
list. ~ Lisa from Wisconsin
I grew up in Massillon, Ohio and there was a small candy store on 4th Street. The candy
store was on a busy street, so we were not allowed to walk to the store without an adult. My sisters and I took dance lessons next to the
candy store, so after dance class we would go next door to the candy store and buy a lot of licorice wheels--so they would last. I loved the
licorice flavor and couldn't wait to finish the wheel so that I could eat the red candy center. I still love the flavor of licorice today,
and I long for a licorice wheel. ~ Sandra from Ohio
When I was child there was a small store near my grandma and grandpas house in the south that carried
licorice wheels I couldn't wait to go down there in the summers because we didn't have a store that carried them. I remember unrolling and
peeling into small strips. It seemed like at that time it was the biggest and longest candy there was. I loved the taste and still do. As an
adult I opened up a store that is very similar to that little store and have been looking for this candy since. Thank You very much Wow what
memories that brings back. I will be ordering soon. ~ Candi from Illinois
