Jordan Almonds memories... Growing up in an Italian family,
every relative we used to visit always had the Jordan Almonds out in
a candy dish. When I was younger, I used the love just eating the
candy coating off the almonds. As I got older, I still ate the
coating off the almond first but actually started to eat the
almonds. Even to this day I feel like I am the only person who
actually eats that candy (Jordan Almonds) that people use as a favor
fillers. Every time I see Jordan Almonds they bring back memories of
my younger carefree days and visiting my relatives. ~ Alicia from

Man! Jordan Almonds were the best thing about going to the movies
as a kid! I grew up in the late 70's, early 80's and the only place
I ever saw these at the time was at the movie theater. They came in
a cardboard package with a cellophane cut-out where the candy was
visible inside. There was only one row of them inside (about 7 or 8
candies) and they were really expensive (we're talking movie candy
prices, after all) - so, my mom would only seldom get them for us.
I don't know when, but they ultimately disappeared from all of
the theaters around here and I didn't see them again for years,
until they showed up at a friends wedding. Apparently, they are a
favorite as a wedding confection today - I think sold in bulk. Don't
know if they are still sold in the same packaging, but I would love
to see 'em pop up at my local theater....... my wife claims to have
no memory of these candies at all..... cool to see 'em here. ~
