"candy you ate as a kid" story?
Share it here.Jolly Ranchers were the candy of choice for my sisters and I when we would walk to the convenience store near our summer vacation house. The wrapper always pulled away from the candy reluctantly. They were in stick form, flat and about 1" wide, and would get really sharp as you sucked on them. It was a bit of a feat, consuming the candy without slicing one's lip or poking one's tongue. My oldest sister always got the "Fire" flavor, and I was so impressed with her bravery. When I watch my kids enjoy the bite size version of my childhood favorite, I think about how easy they have it. ~ Patty from California
