Honey Teaspoon
memories... I remember being 6 or 7 and loving these unusual treats.
I'm not 100 percent sure if this is the exact brand of honey spoon
my grandmother used to buy from the Green Dragon flea market in PA to
stir her tea with, but I've hadn't seen one in years so you can
imagine my delight and profound nostalgia at seeing these.
I would beg my
grandmother for a cup of tea even though I despised the taste of
tea. I would pretend to stick the spoon in the tea where it was
meant to sweeten it. Then I would pocket it till I could sneak out
into the shed and suck on it like a honey-flavored lollypop. I
always thought she had no idea. It's only now that I realize the
lack of stick and the full cup of tea must have given me away every
time. Thank you for carrying these, I didn’t realize how much I
