"candy you ate as a kid" story?
Share it here. When I was young, the food on my mothers plate always looked & tasted so much better than the food on my own. Even if we were eating the exact same thing. One summer day, I remember sitting down in the back yard with her and sharing a sandwich. It was comprised of homemade bread spread with butter and a rich yellow mustard, deer salami with black peppercorns, a cold leaf of lettuce and half of a Hershey's milk chocolate bar. As usual, it was delicious. Just a few months later, my parents let us know "we would soon have a new brother or sister". So much for pickles, my mom's sandwich was the best. ~ A.J. from Oregon
