Share it here.As a young teenager in the 1970s, I lived in rural Ohio. We didn’t get out of the neighborhood very often and I hadn’t tried or even heard of Special Dark candy bars. A local lady called me to her door as I was passing her house one evening. She gave me a bag of Hershey's miniatures telling me that she had been saving them for me since Halloween. (I was 13 and couldn’t go trick or treating any more). Well the second or third one was a Hershey’s Special Dark and I was hooked! Everything else in that bag tasted very plain after that, so I culled out the Specials and gave the others away. These things are still one of my favorite treats, and every time I eat one I remember the first one I had on a cold November evening. ~ From John in Ohio
