When I was about five or six, my parents took me to the park. It was a hot summer day, and we were on our way to my aunt's house. I was being pushed on one of the swings. I just loved the swings. All of a sudden, I fell of and bumped my head very hard on the pole holding up the swing. So the tears came flowing, and my mom went to our cooler to get some ice.
I had a huge bump on my forehead. Finally, my mom said she had some candy for me. I asked her what kind, and she said it was called Goobers. She gave me the package, and I happily ate them all. My mom said the Goobers made me feel better because they were magical! Of course, at that age I believed her. Unfortunately, to this day I have not been able to find a single package of Goobers in a store. ~ Lisa from Wisconsin
