"candy you ate as a kid" story?
Share it here.During the sugar ration in 1945, candy was scarce. My great uncle owned a store and knew Goo Goo Clusters was my favorite candy. (I was 11 years old.) When he got Goo Goo Clusters in the candy shipment, he always called me to come get mine. He had to hide my Goo Goo Cluster to keep his employees from getting it. One day, I was eating my candy and several kids on the street in front of the store tried to take it away from me, so I wasn't the only one who loved that candy! ~ Joan from Alabama
