"candy you ate as a kid" story?
Share it here. When my sister and I were little girls in the 1980's we loved the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory movie, so when we found out you could actually buy Gobstoppers in the store we were so excited. We would just sit happily sucking on them and then take them out of our mouths every few minutes to see what color they turned.
We loved to make a game out of it to see who's Gobstopper would change colors the "best and the fastest". By the time we finished our game our tongues and mouths were multicolored and sore, but it was all worth it. Who knew one candy could provide hours of entertainment! I love thinking back to when something so simple could bring so much joy. ~ Rebecca from Minnesota
