I remember buying a pack from a woman who ran a candy store out of her home in Mexico. She only had 10 candy selections. I would buy freshen Up Gum and we would laugh and laugh and squeeze the juicy center. Aye Carumba!!! We would sit on the hood of my fathers GMC. He was a sausage salesman and smelled strongly of Mexican sausage products. I would say: "Hey, get me some Freshen Up Gum so that I could enjoy the minty and delicious flavor uno ves mas.
