"candy you ate as a kid" story?
Share it here.I remember as a child visiting the doctor's office and there being a bowl of Dum Dum Pops for kids in the waiting room. I was not a fan of lollipops in general, but the Dum Dums were so flavorful, and they were the perfect size for a child. I thought they seemed like an old-fashioned candy, with their subdued packaging and overall simplicity. The assortment of flavors was quite varied, and included many I had not seen before in a lollipop. My favorite by far was the cream soda. Pina colada, root beer, butterscotch, and orange round out my top 5!!! ~From Catherine in Texas
These little lollipops will always remind me of trick or treat... it's the only time I'd get them, probably because they came in a big bag and could be doled out individually and every trick or treater could get some. I never came across them in the local candy store! I was intrigued by the Root Beer flavor, and I liked the small size because that meant you could try a few of them in a short time. ~ From Bruce in New York
